Therapy allows us an opportunity to better understand ourselves, as well as our hopes, fears, and patterns, through communication and connection.
After a client’s first intake session, these sessions are individually-tailored to help you achieve your goals. Whether you’re experiencing a life transition, seeking to better manage anxiety and stress, or needing an unbiased sounding board, individual therapy can help get you where you want to be.
Don’t know what to talk about? No problem! That’s normal. We might talk about what you notice about yourself week to week, or we may talk about a particular topic or issue over several sessions. My job is to create a safe space where you can fully be yourself, celebrate what’s working well, and figure out how to shift what’s not. I tend to incorporate methods from several treatment modalities, such as self-compassion and mindfulness.
